Tangerang (ANTARA) - The startup world is expanding quickly because technology solutions are in high demand. One needed solution is an app that helps people find information when visiting another city, whether for tourism, business, or daily life.
Typically, users rely on apps to plan their trips and figure out what to do once they arrive.
Introducing Localin, an app that helps users find information based on their current location. You can find places to eat, hotels, activities, and attractions.
In addition, the platform with the slogan #BisaDiandelin has a unique community feature. This feature helps users create, grow, or discover communities, share information, and organize activities for members. To unlock premium features, each community only pays Rp 10,000 per year.
Localin CEO Bima Januri said in a Wednesday (16/9) statement that they have partnered with the digital wallet Dana to simplify payments for in-app activities, including community meetups and merchandise sales.
“51.4 percent of respondents said they are part of one or more communities. The rest plan to join a community in the future,” Bima said.
Most respondents want an app that supports community needs: event creation (60 percent), chatting (58.7 percent), and finding new members (44 percent).
“Our hope is that users can do more activities and get enough information with a single app. That way, Localin can really become an app people can rely on for activities and sharing information,” Bima concluded.
